artience Co., Ltd., the Japan-based parent company of the diversified chemicals manufacturing group, the artience Group, has issued the Sustainability Data Book 2025, English version. The annual publication provides a comprehensive summary of the Group’s basic approach, policies, and specific initiatives and supporting data related to ESG (environment, society, and governance) issues in fiscal year 2024.

This report introduces the Group Materiality 2025-2030, which was newly launched this fiscal year and explains its formulation process, themes (material issues) and targets (key performance indicators and measures). The Sustainability Data Book 2025 also expands on our efforts in areas such as climate change response, plastic resource circulation, human resource development, and diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) promotion—areas the company is strengthening based on policies outlined under the artience Sustainability Vision “asv2050/2030.”

The Sustainability Data Book 2025 should be read in conjunction with the artience Group Integrated Report 2025, a report that comprehensively explains the Group’s financial and non-financial information. This will give readers a deeper understanding of the Group’s management strategies, sustainability initiatives, and their progress.

Going forward, artience is committed to proactively disclosing financial and non-financial information, including the publication of both reports, with the aim of further improving communication with its stakeholders, such as shareholders and investors, employees, local communities, customers and business partners with whom the company collaborates in supply chains.
