Application of special particle processing technology to healthcare and agricultural fields

Development of high-performance supplements using color material processing technology and polyphenols

In recent years, as health awareness has increased, the need for health foods and supplements has expanded. Among these, polyphenols have antioxidant effects and are said to be effective in preventing various diseases and aging by reducing oxidative stress in cells. However, some polyphenols have low solubility in water and have problems with absorption.
Therefore, TOYO VISUAL SOLUTIONS is working on the development of a product that uses particle processing technology for organic colorants for color filter to refine polyphenol particles to nano-size, increase the specific surface area, and improve water solubility and absorption. I'm here. This research confirmed that silybin, a type of polyphenol, can be made finer to 100 nm or less, and its solubility in water is approximately three times higher than that of bulk powder. The crystalline nanoparticles developed by our company are expected to be a method to improve the solubility of conventional bulk powders and the sustained release of amorphous nanoparticles.
TOYO VISUAL SOLUTIONS believes that this technology can be applied not only to health foods and supplements, but also to poorly soluble functional ingredients in various fields such as pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and cosmetics, and continues to research it. If you have a product with solubility issues, we can also make a prototype, so please contact us using the form below.

Improvements over conventional formulations

The crystalline nanoparticles developed by our company are made by wet grinding of crystalline bulk powder. This process enables more powerful refinement than conventional methods such as ball mills. In addition, this developed product maintains its crystallinity through special particle processing technology, so it exhibits superior properties in terms of sustained release and stability compared to amorphous nanoparticles made by spray drying etc. .
