Laminating adhesives
Toyo-Morton has a lineup of adhesives that have both high moldability and durability that can be applied to the outer layer of lithium-ion battery pouches, and adhesives that have high weather resistance for solar cell backsheets. In addition, in response to the recent increase in demand for EVs (electric vehicles) and FCVs (fuel cell vehicles), we have developed an acrylic resin that has achieved a breakthrough in hydrolysis resistance to meet the need for long-term durability in harsh environments. We have developed a new type laminating adhesives. It has weather resistance, heat resistance, and oil resistance, so it can be used for parts surrounding automotive batteries.

In addition, our proprietary technology has dramatically improved the adhesion to the encapsulant (EVA) that protects solar cells.
