President Takashima’s message to new employees in 2022

Congratulations to all of our new employees.
We are truly pleased to welcome 49 colleagues to the Toyo Ink Group.

Well, I believe that the past two years have been so harsh for everyone that it can't be described in words like ``tough.'' It's hard to go to school, and even if you can take classes, they're online. Her club activities are restricted, and she is unable to meet up with her friends, let alone go to training camps or travel. I'm sure you must have spent an indescribably depressing day, filled with anxiety, impatience, anger, inability to do things, and a sense of lethargy.
It must have been hard, it must have been boring, it must have been maddening.
Although you may not have been able to live the student life you had envisioned, I hope that you will look to the future instead of worrying about the past.

April 1, 2022. Why don't you reset your mind from today, when a new life begins? I want you to turn the anxiety, impatience, anger, inadequacy, and lethargy that you have accumulated over the past two years into energy and release them outward. That being said, the work is a beginner mark. To be honest, I don't know how to put this energy at what. At that time, do not hesitate to ask and ask your boss, seniors, and people around you. Don't worry if people say you're noisy. And I want you to tell them that you want to do this on your own as soon as possible, and I want you to take action. I hope that listening, communicating, and acting will be a manifestation of the energy that has accumulated in you so far. The Toyo Ink Group is a company that tolerates young people like you who say cheeky things and take so-called premature actions. Rather, let senior employees panic by showing such a proactive appearance.

I often say "Be a practitioner" as one of my congratulatory words and advice at the entrance ceremony. Never be a critic. At first, you will make mistakes. Right now, it's your job to make more mistakes than succeeds. We learn more from our mistakes. The Toyo Ink Group has a history of more than 125 years and is a truly sustainable company. On the other hand, environmental changes are increasing in intensity and speed, and it is difficult to survive as before. Change or Die。 If you can't change, you can die. That's what I'm prepared for. For this reason, we would like to foster a culture of taking on the challenge of creating new businesses. So don't hesitate. Never be afraid, never be intimidated, and don't hesitate to let your pent-up energy go.
