Regarding price revisions for organic pigments products and introduction of energy surcharge system

TOYOCOLOR CO., LTD. (President and Representative Director Okaichi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) has decided to revise the prices of organic pigments products starting from August 1, 2022.

In recent years, inflation in all products and services has been progressing on a global scale, and inflationary pressures are also increasing for crude raw materials, intermediates, and auxiliary materials for organic pigments. Additionally, energy costs such as electricity and gas continue to rise, and organic pigments manufacturing costs are rising significantly.
In order to deal with this situation, the entire company is working together to continue cost reduction activities, but the rise in costs is far beyond what can be absorbed through self-help efforts. We have come to the conclusion that it is necessary to revise our prices in order to achieve this goal, and have decided to implement the following price revisions. Additionally, we will introduce an energy surcharge system starting with the same shipment.
