Apology for system failure and notification of recovery status

TOYO INK SC Holdings (President and Representative Director Satoru Takashima, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) experienced a system equipment failure on February 18, which disrupted various operations throughout the group. Once again, we deeply apologize for the inconvenience and trouble this has caused to our customers. As of today, February 24, the main business systems have been restored, but permanent measures are still ongoing. The entire company will continue to work on the response to customers who have been inconvenienced, while putting in place a company-wide operational system.

  1. Occurrence event
On Saturday, February 18th, there was a problem with the server equipment used in our online system, resulting in the sales management system and production management system not functioning properly. Please note that the cause of the recent outage is not due to a cyber attack, and there is no possibility of customer information being leaked.
As of February 24th (Friday), the main business systems for sales and production functions are being gradually put into operation while being confirmed.
  2. Impact on customers
Due to delays in ordering and production operations, there were delays in the delivery of some products. Currently, operations are generally functioning normally, but we are continuing to take precautions.

We will make an announcement once there is any progress on the initiatives currently underway.
