Regarding price revisions for gravure/flexographic inks and laminating adhesives

TOYO INK CO., LTD. (President and Representative Director Yanagi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) has decided to revise the prices of gravure flexo inks and laminating adhesives starting from April 7, 2023.

Although we announced and implemented price revisions in July 2022, inflation has continued to accelerate on a global scale. The prices of pigments and resins, which are the main raw materials for our gravure and laminating adhesives, continue to rise and remain high due to the emergence of geopolitical risks. Furthermore, the rise in fuel costs and energy resources is accelerating further, putting pressure on various process costs, from procurement of not only raw materials but also auxiliary materials, manufacturing processes, transportation, etc.

Our company has been working on cost reduction measures in all aspects, such as reviewing raw material suppliers through the promotion of global procurement and further improving production efficiency. However, we have come to the conclusion that the cost is far beyond what we can absorb through our own efforts, and have decided to implement the price revisions as described below.
In the future, we will make further efforts internally and strive to improve our services to our customers.
