Selected for the first time as a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Index, a major ESG investment index

TOYO INK SC Holdings Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director Satoru Takashima, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) has been selected for the first time as a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Index, and is also a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index. We are pleased to inform you that we have been selected for the second consecutive year since last year.

Designed by global index provider FTSE Russell, the FTSE Blossom Japan Index and the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index are indices of companies that demonstrate excellence in environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices Japan. These indices are widely used to create and evaluate ESG investment funds and other financial products, such as the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF).
In 2022, Toyo Ink Group formulated its sustainability vision "TSV2050/2030" as a practical long-term goal for the Group's CSR/sustainability activities, with the aim of strengthening sustainability activities on a Group-wide scaleSustainability CommitteeReorganized and established. In addition, we have established a roadmap to achieve carbon neutrality, endorsed and disclosed the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), strengthened human capital with diversity and inclusion at its core, promoted CSR procurement based on the premise of improving the sustainability of supplier companies, and formulated a human rights policy in line with international trends. We promoted various ESG-related measures and expanded information disclosure. We believe that this selection is in recognition of these efforts.
