Three core operating companies of the Toyo Ink Group acquire Kurumin certification as a child-rearing support company

Toyocolor Co., Ltd., the core operating company of the Toyo Ink Group ( President and Representative Director Hideki Okaichi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo), TOYOCHEM CO., LTD. (President and Representative Director: Toshinori Machida, Chuo-ku, Tokyo), Toyo Ink Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director　Masato Yanagi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) was certified by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (Kurumin Certification) on November 15 in recognition of his efforts to balance work and child-rearing.

Based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support the Development of Next-Generation Children, this certification is given to companies that have formulated a general business owner action plan and that have achieved the goals set in the action plan and met certain requirements. This is a system that allows you to receive certification from the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare.
The General Employer Action Plan (Stage 4), which covers the period from April 1, 2020 to December 31, 2022, focuses on promoting the rate of childcare leave taken by men in particular, and in principle takes 10 days of childcare leave in April 2022. Introduced rules for taking childcare leave (childcare leave includes leave for childcare purposes). We also took steps such as posting reports on male employees who took childcare leave on the company intranet, in an effort to promote the use of childcare leave and reform the organizational culture.
Additionally, we have been working to improve the working environment by promoting the taking of annual paid leave, preparing manuals and guidelines for reducing overtime work hours, and formulating "Remote Work Guidelines."
These efforts have been recognized and we have been awarded the Kurumin Certification.

The Toyo Ink Group will focus not only on childcare support but also on initiatives to balance nursing care and medical treatment, etc., and will work to create a workplace environment and foster a corporate culture in which diverse human resources can play an active role.
