Selected as a component of the “SOMPO Sustainability Index”

artience Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director Satoru Takashima, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) has been selected for 11 consecutive years as a constituent of the SOMPO Sustainability Index, which is used for SOMPO Sustainable Management Co., Ltd.

"SOMPO Sustainable Management" is an investment product focused on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). This product is built with a portfolio that tracks the proprietary active index "SOMPO Sustainability Index," composed of approximately 300 companies excelling in ESG initiatives, and is managed with a long-term investment orientation. It has been adopted by multiple pension funds and institutional investors.
The index constituents are reviewed based on the results of annual ESG surveys (annual surveys, interviews, and verification of public information). Once again, our ESG initiatives have been recognized, and we have been selected as an index constituent for 11 consecutive years since fiscal 2016.

Based on the management plan artience 2027/2030 "GROWTH," which began in January 2024, artience group aims to be a corporate group that contributes to realizing a society where people can live richly by creating value that resonates with the senses. In the simultaneously launched medium-term management plan artience 2027, we are advancing business portfolio transformation through transformation into high-profit existing business groups and creating strategic priority business groups, while also advancing the management foundation centered on organizational and human resource management and cash flow management as the starting points for transformation.
In addition, we have re-identified key issues that significantly impact the medium- to long-term value creation of artience group and the realization of our sustainability vision ASV2050/2030, formulated Group Materiality 2025-2030 with 2030 as the target year, and have been operating it since February 2025.
Going forward, we will continue to actively address ESG-related issues and strive for mutual communication with stakeholders to contribute to the development of a sustainable society.
