Hosting the 'Material Technology Market,' an exhibition where 'technology' meets 'technology'

artience Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director Satoru Takashima, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) co-hosted the "Material Technology Market," a technology dialogue exhibition starting from materials and core technologies, with Tokyo Oka Kogyo Co., Ltd. (Director President Junaki Taneichi, Nakahara-ku, Kawasaki City).

Among the vast number of patents and technologies held by Japanese companies, there are many dormant patents and technologies that have not been commercialized. This exhibition was planned with the aim of re-illuminating these technologies and ideas, discovering new applications for patented technologies, and fostering co-creation with other companies.
The "Material Technology Market" is not primarily intended to introduce products or applications, but rather to focus on the core technologies and technological foundations held by each company. It is designed as a venue where companies from different industries can bring their technologies together and explore new applications and needs through dialogue.
In recent years, while trade fairs have focused on business negotiations centered on products and applications, opportunities for companies from different industries to discuss based on the functions and potential of materials and technologies have been limited. Therefore, this exhibition aims to have companies introduce their core technologies and explore new applications and needs through dialogue with visitors, while building relationships that lead to co-creation and joint research.
On the day, 29 companies exhibited and 328 people attended. At the venue, active exchanges of opinions took place between exhibitors and visitors on new applications of materials and core technologies, technical challenges, and possibilities for cross-industry collaboration through poster displays and technology presentations.
