artience Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director Satoru Takashima, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will begin exhibiting paintings and other works born from the 2027 artience group Calendar Co-Creation Project, promoted by contemporary artist Noritaka Tatehana and our employees, starting Friday, October 30, 2026, in the lobby on the 29th floor of the Kyobashi headquarters office. Anyone is welcome to stop by and view the exhibited works.
In creating the 2027 artience group calendar, our company launched a co-creation project to re-examine the technologies and craftsmanship cultivated over more than 130 years since our founding, based on Mr. Tatehana's concept of "Rethink." In this project, Mr. Tatehana and eight volunteer employees are re-examining our group's technologies and materials from new perspectives, creating calendars that blend these with the sensibilities of contemporary art.
This exhibition project features abstract works created using waste ink generated during the ink mixing process, as well as paintings using drawdown, one of the ink quality inspection methods, as well as Tatehana's representative work, "Heel-less Shoes."
Through this exhibition, artience offers opportunities to experience the "value that resonates with the senses" created by artience through the fusion of art and science.
