Our color resists can be cured at lower temperatures than conventional products. We provide products suited to our customers' manufacturing processes and energy-saving needs.

What is Low temperature curing resist inks?

Color filter (CF) using color resists for the three colors red (R), green (G), and blue (B) are created through the process of coating each color, exposing, developing, and post-baking. The final post-baking process is carried out at high temperatures to ensure sufficient durability. However, due to the high temperatures, issues have arisen in terms of constraints and energy consumption in color filter manufacturing process. Therefore, by optimizing materials such as resin, monomer, and photopolymerization initiator, we have developed a "low temperature curing resists" that can be post-baked at a lower temperature than conventional resists.

In the production of color filter for liquid crystal displays (LCDs), the use of low temperature curing resists can lower post-bake temperatures, leading to reduced energy consumption.
Through the development and provision of low-temperature curing resists, we contribute to reducing energy consumption in our customers' manufacturing processes and realizing a sustainable society.

Compatible with various color filter manufacturing processes and base materials

Various structures are being considered for organic light emitting diodes (OLED) displays with the aim of achieving higher brightness, lower power consumption, and longer lifespan.
One of these, the top emission method, allows the TFT substrate to be placed below the organic EL element, allowing light from the organic EL element to be extracted without being obstructed. In this structure, color filter is formed on top of the organic EL element, so post-baking must be performed at a low temperature to avoid damaging the element. Therefore, a resist that hardens even at low temperatures is required.
In addition, we can also provide low-temperature curing resists that are suitable for the color filter manufacturing process and substrate, such as when you want to form color filter on a substrate that is not resistant to heat, such as a film, instead of a conventional glass substrate. It is also expected to be used in Microdisplays such as Micro OLEDs and Micro LEDs, as well as in Optical materials.
