This is a resistance table for sheet-fed process/intermediate color inks provided by TOYO INK. We have obtained biomass certification and are available in many neutral colors that are environmentally friendly.

How to read the resistance table
For your reference when special performance is required for your application, we have listed various resistance strength criteria.
Although it varies slightly depending on printing conditions and coating conditions, if durability is required, we generally recommend using B or higher in this table.
Please note that the judgment values in this table are for dark colors alone; for light colors or mixed colors, the resistance will drop by 1 to 2 levels.
- Heat resistance: Printed paper strips are heated in a dryer at 150℃ for 10 minutes, and the strength is graded into four levels based on the degree of discoloration after heating.
- Alkali resistance: Printed paper strips are immersed in a 0.5% sodium hydroxide solution, and the strength is graded into four levels based on the degree of bleed after 60 minutes.
- Stone resistance: Printed paper pieces are attached to 10% soap gel, and the strength is graded into four levels based on the degree of color change after 60 minutes.
- Paraffin resistance: Printed paper strips are immersed in paraffin wax melted at 110-120℃, and the strength is graded into four levels based on the degree of bleeding and discoloration after 5 minutes.
- Coating resistance: Printed paper strips are press coated, and the strength is classified into four levels depending on the degree of bleeding and fading after coating.
- Alcohol resistance: Printed paper strips are immersed in two types of alcohol solutions, ethanol and butanol, and the strength is graded into four levels based on the degree of coloring of the solution after 24 hours.

- Light resistance: Discoloration was determined when the color could no longer maintain 80% of the unexposed light density using a carbon fade meter.
- Gold-red, red, and crimson colors will fade if exposed to light while wet with rain, so please be especially careful with posters that will be posted outdoors.
