TOYOMELT™ H Series
The TOYOMELT ™ H Series is a heat seal hot melts developed for food packaging applications such as yogurt cups and dessert containers. It holds a top-class market share in Japan as a heat sealant for food packaging and has been adopted by many food and packaging manufacturers for many years. Achieving both stable seal strength and easy peel capability, it contributes to achieving high productivity and quality in food packaging.

The TOYOMELT ™ H Series is applied as a heat seal layer to the film substrate, serving to bond and seal the container.

It delivers stable sealing performance against various packaging materials such as PE, PP, PS, and PET. - Easy Peel
It achieves stable peel strength that is easy for consumers to open. - Low-temperature sealing properties
It can be sealed even at relatively low temperatures, contributing to reduced thermal damage to packaging materials and energy savings. - Suitability for food contact applications
For product numbers intended for use that directly contact food, materials listed in the "Positive List for Food Utensils and Containers and Packaging" stipulated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare are used.
Suitability for Special Uses
Suitable for post-fermentation yogurt
The TOYOMELT ™ H Series also delivers stable sealing performance in yogurt applications where fermentation is performed after container filling. During the fermentation process, the expansion of the contents puts internal pressure on the seal, but this product suppresses seal breakage and leakage even under such conditions, maintaining stable sealing.
In-mold Label Suitability
The TOYOMELT ™ H Series can also be applied to in-mold labels (IML), where labels are integrated during container molding. Thanks to its low-temperature sealing properties, the heat from the molding process can be used to heat the label and fuse it onto the container. Additionally, the easy-peel design allows labels to be easily removed after use, contributing to improved sorting during disposal.
