artience group 's business activities depend on the earth's resources, and we recognize that countermeasures against environmental problems such as air pollution and soil pollution are important issues. In order to build a sustainable recycling-oriented society, we will promote initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing and strive to reduce emissions of pollutants.
Promotion system
ESG Promotion Office of artience Co., Ltd. takes the lead in reducing the impact on the air and taking measures to prevent soil and groundwater pollution at domestic and overseas business sites, including production bases and affiliated companies.

The Group complies with environmental laws and regulations and conducts business activities based on basic policies, regulations, and rules related to the environment to reduce its environmental impact. In FY2024, there were no violations of laws and regulations related to pollution prevention.
Pollution Prevention
In order to reduce air pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx), and soot generated by boilers and other combustion equipment, the Group has been promoting fuel conversion, the introduction of cogeneration equipment, and the appropriate management of combustion conditions in Japan. Domestic SOx and dust emissions have been flattening in recent years. At overseas affiliates, NOx emissions decreased compared to the previous year, but SOx and soot emissions increased slightly. We will continue to strive to reduce emissions.

Ranked A in the JRECO CFC Countermeasure Rating for the second consecutive year
Based on the Fluorocarbon Emission Control Act, which came into effect in 2015, the Group has established a management system at each site to monitor the use of fluorocarbons in the equipment used, calculate the amount of CFC leakage, conduct simple and periodic inspections, and disclose information on its website and reports. This initiative was comprehensively evaluated and it was awarded an A rank for the second year in a row.
