Sustainability Promotion System (FY2025)
Targets
In January 2022, we established ASV2050/2030 as a medium- to long-term goal for 2050 to address the need to respond to a social situation where demands from companies are becoming more active, such as recent global trends in climate change, carbon neutrality, and SDGs initiatives.
ASV2050/2030 consists of two parts: ASV2050, which sets out what 2050 should look like as the target year, and ASV2030, which backcasts the 2030 target as a milestone. In February 2025, we formulated Group Materiality 2025-2030, which sets out action items, KPIs, and measures for environment-related themes (decarbonization, climate change, water management, waste and resource recycling, pollution prevention, and chemical substances). We will use Group Materiality 2025-2030 as an indicator of our sustainability activities, and aim to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 while strengthening our efforts.
